Sustainable Clothing Brand Values

As a sustainable clothing brand in New Zealand, Sly Studio prioritises ethical practices and circularity and sustainability. With so much over-consumption in the world, there's an abundance of materials that already exist, utilising these already existing materials always makes for a unique design brief. As a New Zealand ethical clothing brand, Sly studio's main focus is sustainability, with a zero waste reduction goal, to produce clothing that lasts and is loved.

WHAT IS DEAD STOCK? Fabric that designers didn't use, over-runs from fabric manufacturers, surplus to requirement. We choose to shop at, The Fabric Store, for dead stock, and ethically produced fabrics made from natural fibers. You can read more about The Fabric Store here, https://thefabricstoreonline.com/pages/sustainability

COMMUNITY: I source other fabrics and recycled clothing, to repair, re-purpose, and up-cycle them, from local charity stores. I like that donations from these purchases, go directly towards contributing to local communities in need.
